We have mentioned above the existence of sheets that wrap around the rollers with reflective films, these tapes contain small cells that are made of glass or another high-quality reflective material integrated into a film.

When light falls on it from any angle, it sends the light directly back to its source, making it visible thus the barrier itself can be seen and the road edges can be recognized due to these high-quality sheets, so it can be considered a collision warning tool.

When the car or vehicle hits the rollers, Shawahid’s high-quality elastic material begins to absorb the impact energy, absorbing the maximum amount of energy and rotating around its steel axis flexibly in the opposite direction to the road and the vehicle, thus gradually directing the vehicle back towards the road with superior protection for the passengers and minimal damage to the vehicle.

The role of the upper and lower beams in cylindrical road barriers is to ensure that the rollers withstand the impact at speeds up to 120 km.
