It’s not just a land, it’s history. More than three centuries, this kind Kingdom has had a history that reflects an identity of the founding day we are proud of
Today is our history, it’s Founding Day
Every nation celebrates a day that expresses its identity or one of its achievements, but we are not like any other nation. Here in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we have a history full of achievements since the first day of the first Saudi state, which the great Imam “Muhammad bin Saud” founded, followed by fourteen imams and kings.
During three centuries or more, the kings were able to achieve great achievements in all fields and aspects of life: Economic, educational, military, and others. Their star shined among the countries until we reached this year and what we have planned for the coming years to achieve a clear vision that will make the KSA unrivaled with the realization of Vision 2030
What is the story of the Founding Day?
Imam Muhammad bin Saud set the cornerstone. He began by uniting the two parts of Diriyah and bringing them under one rule. Thus, the first Saudi state established in 1139 AH / 1727 AD.
From that moment on, the concern for the first Saudi state was great, and Imam “Muhammad bin Saud” and the imams who followed him worked to improve this new state, seeking to protect and defend it with their lives, and they also managed its affairs in all aspects and took care of it. Imam Muhammad organized the economic affairs and spread education, and Imam “bin Abdulaziz” was keen to complete the path of his father, the Imam, as he was brilliant in the military aspects, defending his land and his people.
Our slogan “ Founding Day” is our identity
A closer look at the details of its official logo reveals that it combines five elements that we all know by heart (the flag, the palm tree, the falcon, the horse, and the market). With these elements, all the meanings of Saudi Arabia and its people have been combined.
The Flag
The source of our pride in our nation, which expresses the culture, civilization, and history of our kingdom, and who is honored to carry the Tawhid symbol as an expression of pride in peace and battles.
The Palm Tree
It is an expression of the blessing that enriches Arabs in general and Saudis in particular. Here you see palm trees as a sign of blessing, as palm trees are an authentic part of our kingdom and are associated with us.
The Falcon
It is what the Saudis use for hunting, so it is not detrimental to be rich in palm trees, as the people of the Kingdom are the warrior people of the desert, so peace and war are combined in us.
The Horse
9000 years is the history of the Arabian horse breeding on Saudi Arabian land. The Arabian Island was the origin of the Arabian horse.
The Market
This is what our land is famous for. The markets of the Arabian Peninsula have been the most famous in the region since ancient times, and still exist to this day to combine originality and modernity.
This year, Founding Day isn’t like any year
With Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 in its sights and the great achievements it has begun, both those it has accomplished and those that are in the planning stages, this year is not like any other. We are on the edge of a new history that the Kingdom is drawing these years towards a bright and advanced future in all fields.
Is 22 February a holiday in Saudi Arabia?
On this great day of glorious memorials, celebrations, and activities are launched that reflect the identity and culture of our great people and our good country, so this day is an official holiday for all citizens following the royal decree issued by King “Salman bin Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud”.
On this occasion, we congratulate the people and our customers, and we are proud to be part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and work on developing a large part of it, which King Mohammed bin Saud took care of when he secured the pilgrimage and trade routes. Although the meaning of insurance is different between this time and the previous one, what we offer is also real insurance through which we seek to preserve the lives of road users and look forward to a better future for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
We will resume our regular working hours from next Sunday, to continue our series of achievements with you.
